Awards and Recognition

 

Excellent Attendance Award
An excellent attender is a student who by the end of the year has attendance in school 90 percent or more of the days the school was open for instruction.

Best Effort Award
This award is offered to a student who has met the following:

  1. Steady effort
  2. Doing their best in all subjects

Most Improved Award

This award is offered to a student who has met the following:

  1. Initially a student may be experiencing academic and/or social problems but positive improvements are noticeable as the year progress.
  2. Is doing his or her best.
  3. May be on an I.E.P.
  4. May be passing from one grade to another.

Best Academic Award
This award is offered to one student per room who has met 80 - 100 percent in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
