School Operations

The schools' operation is based on the six-day cycle. The first day of school is Day l, holidays are day 0 and the first day after each end of term break is Day 1.

Hours of School
The school door is opened to students at 8:30 a.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Cold Weather
Students are to be properly dressed for the weather. Students will be kept inside for recess on days when it is extremely cold, windy and or raining.

Extremely Cold Weather
These are days when the wind-chill factor is high and weather conditions are extremely cold. Parental discretion is advised on these days.

Students’ Transportation
Transportation services to and from school for students are provided at no cost to parents.

Parents are encouraged to get children ready early because drivers will not overload the buses or will make additional trips.
