Elementary & Secondary Programs

Around 900 Nelson House students enroll in school (kindergarten to Grade 12) at the start of each year, which begins the last week of August.

The Nelson Education operates an "always open" policy, which means the facility is open on all the days it is scheduled to be open, regardless of weather conditions.

O.K. School

Otetiskiwin Kiskinwamahtowekamik is the community's elementary school with Nursery to Grade 8 students.

N.N.O.C.

The Nisichawayasihk Neyo Ohtinwak Collegiate offers a range of programs for students in Grades 9 to 12, as well as a number of mature students.

Currently both schools are operating in the O.K. School facility using a staggared schedule.
